2008 CAMP DATES: Camp Session 1- Spring Fever Martial Arts Camp May 23, 24, and 25 Camp Session 2- Camp Okinawa June 20, 21, and 22 Camp Session 3- Samurai Camp July 25, 26, and 27
Registration Questions: (540) 840-2386 Our summer camps are educational as well as fun. It will benefit everyone from the student new to martial arts to the veteran martial artist. Training in the physical, philosophical, and historical attributes of the martial arts are experienced. All camps include meals, tools, sleep-overs, and out of the dojo experiences like beach/ park training and movie night. See back page for camp itinerary. Drop-off 8PM Friday. Pick-up 11AM Sunday.
Camp Session 1- Spring Fever Martial Arts Camp May 23, 24, and 25
Our first camp of the year will feature a cross-section of all of the disciplines taught at the dojo. The weekend will be divided into three sessions including Karate, Jujutsu, and Traditional Weaponry. Four meals, certificate of achievement, and a traditional rokushakubo (staff) are included in the registration. Sleep-over Friday and Saturday night is optional, but, included in the registration.
Camp Session 2- Camp Okinawa June 20, 21, and 22
June’s camp will feature warmer weather and there is no better way to bring in the summer than to celebrate the martial arts of tropical Okinawa, Japan. The camp will feature the study of old Okinawan karate kata and weaponry. Four meals, certificate of achievement, and traditional weapons Tonfa and Nunchaku are included in the registration. Sleep-over Friday and Saturday night is optional, but, included in the registration.
Camp Session 2- Samurai Camp July 25, 26, and 27
July’s camp will feature the martial arts of the samurai. Four meals, certificate of achievement, and Daisho (practice long and short swords) and Hakama (samurai pants) are included in the registration. Sleep-over Friday and Saturday night is optional, but, included in the registration.

Cost: Camps 1 and 2- $149* Camp 3 - $199**
*Early registration is needed to get a head count and to order the necessary equipment. **Camp 3 MUST be pre-paid by July 18 in order to order the student’s hakama in time for camp.
