Mugai Ryu Iaihyodo

It is considered a Koryu, or "old school", founded before the Meiji period. The above link to the English Mugai Ryu home page is a great resource for Mugai Ryu history and philosophy. As a student of Niina Gosoke, study in other arts is available through the Suimokai including Mugai Ryu Iaihyodo, Shindo Muso Ryu Jodo, Uchida Ryu/ Tosei Ryu Tanjojutsu, and Isshin Ryu Kusarigamajutsu.
Meishi ha Mugai Ryu Iaihyodo is not to be confused with the Iaido of Soke Shogo Kuniba often referred to as Kuniba ha Mugai Ryu or Kuniba Ryu. Please click the following link for an in depth comparison of the two arts.
